In a world where we now get most of our news online and through social media, something needs to be done to help hold platforms to account for ‘fake’, misleading and biased ‘news’.
Perspective is a fact checker for every piece of media across the web - every tweet, every video, every article. It’s run by a dual system of AI fact-checking and user submissions, making it as balanced as possible, and allowing users to get involved in safeguarding the truth.
2021 Exciting Edit: Does this look familiar? In 2021 Twitter launched 'Community Notes', functioning in a very similar way to Perspective, to help stem the spread of misinfomation on the platform.
